'Don't stress about right or wrong'_ Audio leak highlights Imran talking about 'horse trading'

Description:

A week after a leaked audio recording of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders was released, another surfaced on Friday in which party chief Imran Khan allegedly talked about "buying" MNAs.

In the 0.45-second audio, a voice attributed to the former prime minister can be heard apparently talking about "horse-trading" - a political practice involving "buying" MNAs ahead of key Assembly votes.

The audio begins with Imran allegedly saying "don"t think it"s over", a possible reference to the no-confidence vote in March this year.

"From now on, the next 48 hours is a long time. A lot of things are happening and I am also taking some steps that we cannot disclose," says a voice attributed to the PTI chief.

"I buy five [MNAs], I have five [MNAs]," the vote was believed to belong to Imran"s states.

"Those five are important. Tell him if he can secure the other five, we"ll have a total of ten. The game will be in our hands."

Towards the end of the audio, Imran is heard saying that the nation is worried at the moment and wants "us" to win by any means necessary.

"Nobody should be afraid and wonder if it"s right or wrong, whatever the tactic." Breaking even a single [MNA] will make a big difference,” instructs a voice attributed to the PTI chief by party members.

Last week, a leaked audio recording of PTI leaders was released, purportedly showing party leaders Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi discussing the much-publicised "threat cipher" with Imran Khan and the former chief secretary - fueling the controversy surrounding the constant drip of damnation. the leaks are said to offer a glimpse into the inside story.

The 1.09-minute long audio surfaced on social media and featured an alleged conversation between Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and Azam on a strategy to pave the way for the Cablegate affair narrative.

In May this year, the former prime minister urged the Supreme Court to take action against "horse-trading".

"What an example we are setting for our coming generation that the public representatives were sold like goats and sheep," Imran said in an interview with a private television channel.

Imran further said that he believed that if the Supreme Court did not take action against "horse-trading", it would threaten the future of the country.
