The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has lifted the ban on recruitment to ministries.Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur urged the relevant authorities to end all bans on recruitment in the province. The Secretariat of the Prime Minister sent a letter to the General Secretary.
Earlier on March 3, Prime Minister Gandapur imposed a ban on all recruitments, except for cases pending before the Public Service Commission.The Prime Minister has now launched an inquiry into recruitments in the province under the interim government. Shortly after taking office, he requested a comprehensive report on all recruitments between March 1, 2023 and February 29, 2024, and asked the relevant agencies to compile the information within a week.
In a separate development, the Sindh Education Department has announced the lifting of the ban on recruitment of teachers in the province. According to the notice, the Education Board is waiting for information about the candidates who have passed the recruitment exam. After lifting the ban, the Sindh government is recruiting primary and secondary school teachers for schools across the province.
