Description:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Saifullah Niazi was reportedly taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency"s (FIA) Cyber Crime Unit on Friday.
The senator was reportedly taken into custody on charges of running an "unauthorized" website that was being used for illegal fundraising.
Senior PTI leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain also took to Twitter to comment on Niazi"s reported arrest: "After yesterday"s press conference by Shehbaz Sharif and the subsequent arrest of Tariq Shafi, Hamid Zaman and Saif Niazi, it is clear that the government is panicking and afraid after the announcement of "Azadi March "."
