The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and other relevant departments, according to him, will be in charge of helping the flood victims. In a video posted to Twitter on Monday, Khan provided a brief explanation of the app"s operation.
The minister explains in the video that flood victims can use the app to ask for food, water, medicine, evacuation, or other aid. The software was developed in a single day, the minister claims. Through the app, victims can send a message or a picture that will be immediately forwarded to the PDMA and all local deputy commissioners.
Users won"t need to explain where they are because the authorities can discover them as soon as they send a message, thus they won"t need to. They will then work to help as quickly as they can after that.
You can download the KP flood reporting app from this page. Only Android phones can use it, and the website provides instructions on how to download it and use it.
