India beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in the second match of the Asia Cup 2022. The first wicket of the national team fell to captain Babar Azam, who returned to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs, while Fakhar Zaman also scored 10 runs. In the 12th over, Fatkhar Ahmed hit Chahal for a towering six but pandya ended his 28-run innings in the next over.

Hardik Pandya dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 43 runs off 41 balls, at the hands of Avish Khan. Mohammad Rizwan scored 43 runs in 42 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Khushdil Shah also faced 7 balls and scored only 2 runs. Asif Ali also showed irresponsibility and added just 9 runs to the wicket of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Mohammad Nawaz returned to the pavilion after scoring one run off 3 balls and caught wicketkeeper Karthik off Arshdeep Singh. Shadab Khan faced 9 balls and scored 10 runs with the help of a four and became the third wicket of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Bhuvneshwar Kumar reached the hat-trick ball by dismissing Naseem Shah, who played his first match after Shadab, in his last over. 

Shahnawaz Dhani dashed Bhuvneshwar Kumar"s hat-trick ambitions and then hit a six off the next ball, Dhani also hit Arshdeep Singh for a six in the next over to take Pakistan"s score to 147 runs.

Pakistan were bowled out for 147 runs in 20 overs. When India chased the target, young fast bowler Naseem Shah, who debuted in T20 cricket, raised his team"s hopes by dismissing KL Rahul on the second ball of the first over. Naseem Shah troubled star batsman Virat Kohli on the first ball while Kohli caught at slip on the next ball but Fakhar Zaman failed to manage it.

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma was caught by Iftikhar Ahmed while trying to play a high shot off Mohammad Nawaz. Virat Kohli faced 34 balls and was dismissed for 35 runs. Naseem Shah dismissed Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 18 runs. Mohammad Nawaz came in to bowl the last over and blew the wicket of Jadeja on the first ball, who scored 35 runs off 29 balls.

Nawaz bowled well in the last over but Hardik Pandya hit a six off the fourth ball to give the team victory. Young fast bowler Naseem Shah has made his T20 debut against India, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim have already been out of the event due to injury. Fast bowler Hasan Ali has been included in the squad but he is not available for the Indo-Pak match.
