Description:
During a charity event honouring the late Australian cricketer Shane Warne, Wasim Akram threw back the clock for fans by taking three wickets, including former England captain Michael Atherton.
Brian Lara, Charlotte Edwards, Ian Bell, Monty Panesar, Michael Atherton, Neil Johnston, commentator Mark Nicholas, and Manoj Badale played in the cricket match, which was umpired by Clive Llyod.
Wasim Akram hit Atherton"s stumps with a brilliant inswinging yorker, according to a footage released on Twitter by Cricket District. He also retweeted the video, writing, "Sorry @Athersmike, we might just get older, but some things never change!"
After the immaculate yorker hit the center and leg stumps, the duo, who had played against one other in the 1990s, were beaming, and Akram celebrated the wickets.
Sorry @Athersmike we might get older but some things will stay the same 😉! https://t.co/k2SnvKGvX5
