The warm-up match on July 1 is part of India"s preparation for the coming white-ball series against England. India will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty-Twenty-Innings (T20Is) against England.
The dashing opener went on to explain that India sent 2 different squads to England for red-and-white ball cricket, proving how good and world-class Indian cricketers are.

Shan, who was named Derbyshire captain, noted that the match will be a good opportunity for him because he will be playing against a lot of world-class athletes, which will help him enhance his talents.
