Shan Masood is upbeat about Derbyshire's upcoming match against India.

Description:

Shan Masood, Pakistan"s opening batter, has spoken out about the impending warm-up match against Derbyshire and India, in which he will command the side, adding that playing against India is every Pakistani cricketer"s ambition, but for him, it"s just a game of cricket.

"I know that the Pakistan-India relationship has a great significance, and playing vs India is a major event for Pakistani players," Shan told the media prior of the match. But, at the end of the day, this is a game of cricket and a significant opportunity for me."

The warm-up match on July 1 is part of India"s preparation for the coming white-ball series against England. India will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty-Twenty-Innings (T20Is) against England.

The dashing opener went on to explain that India sent 2 different squads to England for red-and-white ball cricket, proving how good and world-class Indian cricketers are.

"India has a wonderful team, and they"re now traveling with separate red-ball and white-ball teams, so they"ve got a lot of talent and many world-class players," says the coach.

Shan, who was named Derbyshire captain, noted that the match will be a good opportunity for him because he will be playing against a lot of world-class athletes, which will help him enhance his talents.

"As a cricketer, I see this match as a chance since I will get to play against some elite players, which will help me develop my game." "I"m just treating this like a cricket match."

In response to a query regarding the pressure he will experience as captain during in the game, he responded that it is simply a game of cricket that he will enjoy and try to score runs.

"I"m not concerned about leadership or the importance of a Pakistani facing India." It"s a cricket game. I"ll have fun and try to score runs. "I"ll love it regardless of the outcome or experience," he said.
