When will "Laal Singh Chaddha" be released in Pakistan

Description:

DISTRICT OF THARPARKAR, LAHORE, AND KARACHI: As the tension between the neighbours grew in 2019 after India revoked Kashmir"s special status, the then-government of Pakistan imposed a ban on Indian content.

There hasn"t been a Bollywood film released in Pakistan since that time. Hollywood and regional films have been playing in theatres. Therefore, when the rumour that Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan"s upcoming film, may be distributed in Pakistan became viral, everyone was taken aback.

A NOC request has been made for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha in Pakistan, according to sources in the information ministry, despite denials from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and Sindh Board of Film Certification members.

According to a Federal Information and Broadcast Ministry representative, "Our policy is the same." "No Indian movie or other production will be released in the nation." The source continued, "Laal Singh Chaddha is an Indian movie, and the Ministry did not provide any NOC for the release of Indian movie in Pakistan, in accordance with our policy."

Despite objections from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and Sindh Board of Film Certification members, a NOC request has been submitted for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha in Pakistan, according to authorities in the information ministry.

Our policy is the same, according to a spokesman of the Federal Information and Broadcast Ministry. There won"t be any releases of Indian films or other works in the country. The source stated, "Laal Singh Chaddha is an Indian film, and in accordance with our policy, the Ministry did not grant any NOC for the release of Indian film in Pakistan."

According to the information that is currently accessible, the importers planned for a distribution in Pakistan on August 11. The Cinepax firm imports the movie into Pakistan while Paramount Pictures handles international distribution.

The exhibition of Indian movies in the nation"s theatres has been outlawed, according to a tweet from the then-prime minister"s special assistant on information, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, in 2019. No cinema in Pakistan will show any Indian films. Drama, movies, and other such Indian content will be outright prohibited in Pakistan, she had said.
