Description:
At Apple"s WWDC event earlier this week, the company introduced a bigger MacBook Air. This 13.6-inch MacBook Air features an M2 processor, a flatter form, and a better webcam.
According to a new Bloomberg study, the laptop is likely to get even larger next year. According to the source, Apple already is working on a 15-inch MacBook Air for 2023, which could be released as soon as spring. It will be the Air series" first laptop of such size.
The 15-inch MacBook Air will simply be a larger version of the 13.6-inch M2 MacBook Air that was just announced. This means Apple will adhere to a flatter shape instead of the wedge-like finish seen on prior versions.
Apple is also working on a new 12-inch laptop, which is expected to be released at the end of 2023 or early 2024. If the rumours are correct, this will be Apple"s tiniest laptop since 2019. It"s unclear whether this laptop will be in the Air or Pro lineup.
Apple is said to be working on M2 Pro and M2 Max-powered MacBook Pro notebooks, which might be released by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. The laptops are designated J414 and J416 and will be available in 14′′ and 16′′ sizes, respectively.
The M2 Pro chip would be manufactured using TSMC"s 3nm technology and will be available later this year. It has 4 efficiency cores and eight performance cores, according to rumours. It"s possible that the M2 Max will contain 12 CPU cores and 38 GPU cores.
There"s even talk of the M3 chip powering future iMacs and other items.
