Oppo released first smartwatch with a Snapdragon W5G1 processor and an LTPO display

With its most recent smartwatch release, the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, Oppo is closely pursuing Samsung. The new smartwatches, which are now exclusively offered in China, are direct competitors of the recently released Galaxy Watch 5 series.
With Qualcomm"s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, which was unveiled in July, these new wearables are the first smartwatches. The Oppo Watch 3 sports a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen with 3D glass and a resolution of 372 x 420 pixels, while the Pro model has a larger 1.91-inch screen (378 x 496 pixels) with LTPO for the first time ever in battery saving.
The Pro version"s 550 mAh battery allows it to operate for up to 5 days, while the regular model is limited to a 400 mAh battery that lasts 4 days. With light mode, the battery life of the former can last up to 10 days and the later up to 15 days. Both devices have a charging time of 60 to 65 minutes.
Both watches feature a heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen monitor, sleep tracking, more than 100 workout programmes, 150 watch faces, and other features. There includes a 5ATM water resistant rating, 1GB RAM, 32GB storage, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, eSIM, and built-in GPS functionality.
When the Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro go on sale in China on August 19, the starting pricing for the Watch 3 is $222 and $282, respectively. It"s unknown if similar wearables will be introduced in other nations. For the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, you have the option of Platinum Black or Feather Gold as well as Platinum Black or Desert Gold.
