Today in the PA, PTI will file a no-trust motion against Deputy Speaker Mazari

Today in the Punjab Assembly, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will introduce a resolution of no confidence against Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari and cast a vote for a new speaker of the house.
Following the Supreme Court"s decision to overturn Deputy Speaker Mazari"s controversial decision on the election of the Punjab chief minister, the PTI made the decision to "immediately" introduce a no-confidence motion against the deputy speaker.
Sibtain Khan, a former provincial minister for forestry, wildlife, and fisheries, was also selected by the party as the Punjab Assembly"s speaker.
Sibtain Khan, the PTI"s nominee, has reportedly received 186 votes, while Saiful Malook Khokhar, the PML-nominee, N"s has received 178 votes that have been officially confirmed.
The PML-N expressed confidence and said they would "110%" win the election.
"We predicted that Hamza would become chief minister last time, and he did. This time, we promise that Saiful Malook would take the gavel as speaker, according to a PML-N spokeswoman.
The PTI camp had already started to show "cracks," according to the party, because they were breaking their agreements with their partners about ministerial appointments, which led to reluctance on their part.
The PML-N claims that Sibtain Khan won the battle for PA speaker over Zain Qureshi, the son of former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who had also been nominated by the PTI.
Members of the PML-N insisted that their information about the opposition and sources offered them "110 percent assurance" of victory.
