Imran Khan Undergoes Operation in Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore

Former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan, leads a four-member team of doctors operating on former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
According to media reports, the former prime minister was immediately rushed to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Lahore after receiving first aid in Wazirabad following the unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has beefed up security at the hospital. Visitors have been banned from entering hospitals in view of the volatile situation following the attempt on Imran Khan"s life.
Earlier today, Imran Khan was injured in firing during his long march near Gujranwala"s Wazirabad area. One person has been declared dead and several persons including Imran Khan are injured.
