For the month of June 2022, K-(KE) Electric"s fuel cost adjustment (FCA) has been approved by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) at a rate of Rs. 11.10 per unit.
According to the NEPRA notification, the Rs. 11.10 per unit FCA for June will be recovered from KE"s consumers over a two-month period.
Customers will be charged Rs 3.01 per unit in August and Rs 8.09 in September as a result.
Following KE"s request for an increase of Rs. 11.39 per unit in the FCA for June, the NEPRA convened a public hearing on the FCA on July 28 and came to the conclusion that a decision would be made after more in-depth review of the data.
Except for Lifeline subscribers, all KE customers will only be billed the FCA for June in August and September.
