Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal Al-Thani, state ambassador of Qatar, stated on Friday that the government of Qatar intends to engage in a number of sectors of Pakistan, particularly in energy, trade, and companies to further improve the two nations" bilateral economic connections.
At Finance Division, the envoy met with Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.
The finance minister welcomed the ambassador from Qatar and emphasised the two countries" longstanding friendship. He revealed that the current administration is working on several measures to make it easier for businesses and investors to operate in Pakistan.
The finance minister also provided information on the profitable investment opportunities in several Pakistani industries. The meeting also covered the imminent trip that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will make to the State of Qatar.
While praising the investment plans, the minister gave the ambassador the assurance that the government will fully support and cooperate.
