Description:
The Bhara Kahu bypass must be operationalized by Capital Development Authority (CDA) within four months, according to instructions from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During the opening of the Rawal Dam flyover, he gave these orders.
The PM also instructed the local government to expeditiously finish the last of the construction on the Rawal Dam Interchange. He complimented the efforts made by the department and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) to open the flyover earlier than expected.
The PM remarked:
Islamabad might have changed by now if the CDA chairman had changed sooner, but it"s never too late.
The early departure of the previous contractor caused the Rawal Dam interchange project to temporarily cease earlier this year. The project was then finished by CDA by hiring FWO.
The flyover was supposed to be finished by September 2022. However, the department launched the partially completed project sooner according to special instructions from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Shehbaz Sharif gave the civic organisation the instruction to finish the remaining work by September 2022 during the site inspection. He said that doing these projects is "absolutely achievable," pointing out that his team finished projects identical to these in Lahore and Murree in a matter of months.
The Prime Minister declared his intention to introduce the metro bus service in Bhara Kahu in a month. He gave the CDA chairman instructions to make sure that all significant projects in Islamabad are completed on schedule.
