Description:
Imran Khan, a former prime minister and the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), questioned the "neutrals" on Sunday as to why he had been removed from office by a "foreign-funded" vote of no-confidence in the legislature, claiming that his only offence was his refusal to recognise the "imported" government.
"Pemra has since joined the game. Who or what is Imran Khan? His only transgression is that he refuses to submit to this foreign government "He said this while speaking to a large crowd of people in Rawalpindi"s Liaquat Bagh.
Imran claimed that organisations call people who visit his home to show support for him and inquire as to their purpose for being there.
"Do you consider yourself to be neutral? If not, why do you harm this nation so much? Why do you wish to support this group of people (the current administration)? Do you think the people, who have been robbing the country for the past 30 years, will believe them? "He inquired.
He claimed that cops were told they had orders to use violence during the PTI protest on May 25. He continued, "It suggests they were under pressure from the neutrals.
Imran claimed that the PTI sought to have the chief election commissioner disqualified, but when they asked for information, they were told that they were being pressured by "boots," therefore the chief election commissioner was giving all of his rulings against them.
He addressed the "neutrals," saying, "Now in Shahbaz Gill"s case, police say they are now under pressure... Whatever is occurring in Pakistan will be blamed on you."
A video clip of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz officials criticising the armed forces and courts was also screened during his speech. Imran questioned why Shahbaz Gill was given a different treatment.
"As I am aware of their strategy, I am saying all of this today. I am aware of Mr. Y"s plans, but let me assure you right now that Imran Khan will not budge, even if you imprison me. I won"t ever travel abroad. I intend to spend my entire life here."
Whatever is planned, including his disqualification, he claimed, will harm Pakistan. "Currently, PTI is the only federal party in Pakistan. PTI can bring people together. Political parties, not the army, are responsible for maintaining national unity. You would damage the nation if you weaken PTI "Added he.
According to the former prime, if PTI is forced to the breaking point, Sri Lanka-like conditions will arise in the nation. "Who will stop these folks from making the nation"s current predicament worse worse if we leave? Elections that are free and transparent are the only way out "he Added.
He claimed that Shahbaz Gill is being used as a scapegoat as part of a scheme to systematically suppress PTI. He said, "He was stripped naked, beaten, and our lawyers informed us what they did to him.
Imran claimed he didn"t want to end his demonstration on May 25 but did it anyway to save carnage in the nation. I won"t stop until I grant my people true freedom.
Additionally, he sent his congratulations to his party"s fans and workers in anticipation of the Karachi NA-245 by-election results.
