PIA Increases the Number of Direct Flights to Skardu

On Monday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made the announcement that it would be boosting the number of its weekly direct flights to Skardu.
Abdullah Khan, PIA"s spokesperson, announced that 12 flights per week will be operated from specific places in the nation to Skardu.
According to him, the flights were introduced by PIA "in response to increasing travel demand to northern locales due to summer holidays and Eid holidays."
Six Pakistani cities will have direct PIA flights to Skardu.
Skardu International Airport, one of the highest airports in the world, was opened by the former prime minister Imran Khan last year.
At a height of far more than 7,000 feet, the airport is located. It has a 12,000-foot main runway and an 8,500-foot secondary runway.
