In Madinah, 330,451 Hajj pilgrims came

To undertake the Hajj this year, 330,451 pilgrims from various countries have travelled by air and land to Madinah.

According to statistics on pilgrims arriving and departing from Madinah provided by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, 266,064 pilgrims have entered through the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport since the start of Hajj flights, while 49,038 pilgrims and 15,222 pilgrims, respectively, were processed through the land immigration centre and the centre for receiving pilgrims via land.

The figures also showed the nationalities of the pilgrims who were staying in Madinah, with 12,625 Bangladeshis being the largest group of them, followed by Nigerians (9,673), Pakistanis (8,369), Indians (7,575), and Iranians (6,425).

According to statistics, 239,547 pilgrims left Madinah over the past several days on their route to the Holy Sites in Makkah, while 90,877 pilgrims of all countries remained in Madinah up until yesterday.
