Rihanna has been named the United States' youngest self-made billionaire

Description:

According to Forbes, singer Rihanna is just the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States. For the third year in a row, the 34-year-old singer was named to the publisher"s annual list of America"s richest self-made women. Her net worth has increased to $1.4 billion. The only billionaire under 40 years old on the list, she placed 21st overall.

According to CNBC, Rihanna"s fortune stems from her famous music career as well as her entrepreneurial ventures, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty. Bloomberg reported in March that the Savage X Fenty lingerie company worked with advisors on a public offering (IPO) that could value the company at $3 billion or more. Rihanna owns 30% of that company.

Rihanna is successful in a variety of business ventures. She is a Fenty Beauty founder and has a 30% stake in her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty. She has also experimented with Fenty Beauty. Her song "Umbrella" has taken the music world by storm. According to Forbes, she is the first and only billionaire from her native Barbados. Not only that, but she is the only woman under 40 on Forbes" list of female billionaires in the United States in 2022.

Rihanna"s wealth allows her to be supportive in her ventures. "Many women thought there weren"t any [makeup] lines that catered to their skin tone available." It was light, medium, medium-dark, and dark—we all know that isn"t true "Shannon Coyne, Bluestock Advisors" co-founder of consumer products, reportedly told Forbes. "She was one of the first brands to say, "I want to reach all of those different people.""
