Armeena believes that disrespectful posts from influencers and celebrities should cease during a national emergency

Description:

Celebrities have been helping flood victims in Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the provinces deal with the devastating effects of the intense monsoon rains. Many have shared trustworthy links to nonprofits doing the same to encourage their followers to give for the survival of all victims and the rehabilitation of those who have been displaced.

However, some people on social media have been posting details about their daily lives without interruption, appearing to be almost unmoved by the extent of the destruction and the loss of human life, even as the situation for those affected by the disaster worsens and rescue efforts remain in full swing.

Therefore, actor Armeena Rana Khan stated that she "definitely" concurred that influencers and celebrities may halt the spreading of content for amusement during a national emergency. The actor has also pleaded with people not to disparage individuals who are truly making an attempt to help the less fortunate.

With a national natural disaster on the rise, a person tweeted, "Any Pakistani "celebrity," "influencer," producing content for entertainment purposes right now really needs to re-evaluate their morality and ethics – have a little respect for your people, for humanity." Armeena tweeted the same message with the words "Absolutely!"

She also stated in another tweet, "So many naysayers! Although they are unwilling to put in any effort on their own, they are the first to criticise and demotivate others who are! Get off your ass and assist the flood victims nearby if you"re that worried." Earlier, Faysal Quraishi posted a video to Twitter in which he criticised people on social media for criticising him and fellow television hosts Danish Taimoor and Fahad Mustafa of not supporting the cause despite giving away expensive prizes in their game shows. He said that it is not necessary to make public every contribution made by a well-known person.

Armeena also tweeted a news article stating that due to "growth in demand," shelter tent prices had increased to Rs15,000.

She yelled, "Zalimo! (Oppressors)" Users concurred. "If our nation"s businessmen learn that tomorrow is Qiyaamah, then overnight even the prayer mats will go up in price. The hearts are losing their fear of the afterlife, "Tweeps made a statement. Another said, "They"ll use this money to travel to Hajj next year."

Since Friday, celebrities have urged their fans to help with the flood relief operations. Humayun Saeed posted a request to the government to oversee the natural disaster"s destructions. Shehzad Roy, a well-known humanitarian whose nonprofit Zindagi Trust promotes humanitarian causes, tweeted about the urgent need for flood relief operations. Additionally, Mahira Khan shared a post from the Alkhidmat Foundation, a local non-profit assisting with rescue operations and distributing supplies. Armeena mentioned that she had the good fortune to know some "wonderful" and "trusted" charity and gave a link to one of them.
