On Thursday, representatives from the USA Futsal Federation and the Pakistan Soccer Futsal Federation met in New York and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the express goal of advancing the sport in both nations.
Mark Edward Brown, president of the USA Futsal Federation, and Hazrat Ali, president of the Pakistan Futsal Federation, signed the Memorandum of Understanding and stated that the agreement will be advantageous for the sport in both nations and will also aid in enticing the younger generation to take up the sport.
The United States, which is now rated 49th in the world for this sport, has attempted to better promote the activity there. The most recent agreement will provide them access to a sizable market in Pakistan and give the players more visibility in both nations.
