Hockey Trials Under the Talent Hunt Youth Sports League: HEC Opens Registration

A national registration process for the hockey trials has been launched by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), in partnership with a select group of higher education institutions (men and women). The Talent Hunt Youth Sports League programme is behind the trials.
Male and female young athletes between the ages of 15 and 25 may sign up to play in the sport. Documents such as CNIC/Form-B and the domicile of young players will be examined. The registered players may, however, show up for trials in the province"s closest venues.
The winners of the trials will be qualified to compete in the regional and national leagues. From the trial period through the national league, they will receive ongoing coaching and mentoring that includes a variety of opportunities for future advancement, including representing Pakistan at the national and international levels.
In order to provide young players a chance to show off their hockey talent, HEC will hold the trials at 25 places, including the federal capital, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh.
The Prime Minister"s Youth Program (PMYP) website encourages all the young, enthusiastic hockey players to sign up. Additionally, the qualified athletes will have access to an on-the-spot registration facility.
