Due to weather concerns, Karachi University has postponed all exams

Description:

Torrential monsoon rains and subsequent urban flooding continue to have a negative impact on every aspect of life in Karachi, from academic activities to air travel.

Due to inclement weather, Karachi University has also delayed all exams scheduled for July 25th, Monday. The new schedule will be made public later.

Earlier this weekend, the Sindh government declared a public holiday on July 25 in Karachi and Hyderabad following the PMD"s warning of urban flooding in these cities.

Murtaza Wahab, the Administrator of Karachi, announced the decision and asked the public to prevent unnecessary movement due to the expected continuous rainfall.

Furthermore, due to inclement weather, approximately 18 domestic and numerous international flights scheduled to depart from Karachi"s Jinnah International Airport on Sunday either were delayed or cancelled.

Four PIA flights were also delayed, according to the Aviation Authority (CAA). The national flag carrier"s flights PK-306, PK-370, PK-341, and PK-349 were all delayed.
