The Pakistan Cricket Board"s 2022-23 men"s domestic cricket season, which was revealed today, focused on streamlining cricket pathways and increasing playing opportunities for talented cricketers.
The seniors" season will begin with a 33-match two-leg National T20 tournament in Rawalpindi and Multan from August 30 to September 19. Concurrently, the second XIs Cricket Affiliations Cup will be held in Quetta from the 2nd to the 15th of September.
The PCB"s crown jewel, the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, will be played from September 27 to November 30, with Abbottabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Karachi hosting 31 matches. From September 27 to November 23, the Cricket Associations Championship will be held in the same cities as the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
The 33-match Pakistan Cup 50-over match, which will be held in Karachi from December 10 to January 3, will bring the curtain down on the 2022-23 domestic cricket season. Karachi will also host the Cricket Associations Challenge from December 10 to December 29.
Over the course of 127 days, 187 matches are organised to be played (30 August to 3 January).

The Cricket Associations Cup (T20 format) will now be played in two leagues. This means that each team will play at least 10 matches, with a total of 30 matches played. Previously, the event was played in a single league of 15 games.

The CA Divisional Senior Tournament will run from July 27 through August 12 while the National U19 Championship will start on July 25 and end on August 23 in Karachi.
