The historic trip of Pakistan will be included in the new season of Cricket Australia"s Amazon documentary.
The first version of the documentary, dubbed "The Test," was released in 2018/19, and it documented Australia"s cricket summer, with a focus on their Ashes victory. The documentary"s main focus this time is the team"s historic tour of Pakistan, where they won a 1-0 Test series in their first visit to Pakistan since 1999.
The documentary is expected to focus on Australian opening batter Usman Khawaja"s homecoming tour of Pakistan and Pat Cummins" ascension as Australia"s Test skipper.
The Amazon video team, including the project"s principal cinematographer, was present with the team on their trip of Pakistan, according to details. The documentary is still under production, and it includes Australia"s current trip of Sri Lanka. The documentary team plans to do interviews with players back in Australia, despite the fact that they have already filmed the majority of the information during the current season.
The documentary"s release date has yet to be determined, although it is expected to release early next year. The documentary"s first edition, which covers the 2018-19 season, was released in March 2020.
