Description:
While everyone is thrilled at the news that celebrity couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are having a child, several individuals commented that Alia should have held off since she is at the height of her career with back-to-back Bollywood hits and a Hollywood debut. The actor from Gangubai Kathiawadi"s career will not be hampered by her pregnancy or child, thanks to her husband, who is here to defend her and silence all trolls.
The soon-to-be father Ranbir told BBC Urdu that his wife won"t experience the same suffering that her mother did. "The process of having a child is really natural. I recognise that the times have changed, but it is a blessing from God. Alia will put in the same amount of effort in the future as she does now. There won"t be anything in her way, he assured her.
Fans were more alarmed by the Kapoor family"s historical practise of prohibiting daughter-in-laws from working in movies after marriage. The only person to break the mould was Kareena Kapoor Khan, who not only continued working after marriage and having children but also made public appearances while heavily pregnant. She continues to enthral fans with her leading parts in blockbusters even now that she is a mother of two.
Ranbir hopes to continue the legacy of his more senior relative by setting new standards and serving as a role model for upcoming actors. Speaking to the same journal, he stated that he is prepared to take on the burden of caring for the family and children after marriage because, in his opinion, women are not the only ones who have this duty.
"Having Alia Bhatt as my wife is a great blessing for me. We adore and respect each other a great deal. The days ahead look quite promising for us. Although it never occurred to Alia that she is so well-known, I am aware that many people are saying that she is becoming a mother at the height of her career," he remarked.
The Rockstar actor continued by saying he is even able to take time off of work to care for his child. "It is not true at all that Alia"s work will become less significant now that she is a mother; that will never occur. My wife won"t have to make the same sacrifices that my mother did, he said.
