According to Indian media, Salman Khan nearly escaped an assassination attempt.

Description:

According to Indian media, a Bollywood actor narrowly evaded an assassination attempt. The killing of the famed Bollywood celebrity was carried out by a shooter with a narrow weapon hidden in a customized hockey case, according to Times Network. The sharpshooter was said to have been placed outside the actor"s home.

The assailants allegedly conducted a reconnaissance of the Dabangg actor"s home and found that Khan does not cycle with security personnel in the morning. The assassins were aware that Khan was vulnerable at the time, according to the article, and planned a plan to eliminate him. The sharpshooter was sent by Lawrence Bishnoi, a suspect in the murder of Punjabi artist and politician Sidhu Moose Wala.

However, as the sharpshooters were about to carry out their plan, and Khan was going to leave his residence that morning, a Mumbai Police escort was at his entrance, engaged with the actor because he had a public function that day, the scheme was foiled.

The sharpshooter and his companions were taken aback by this unexpected turn of events, and they concluded that now was not the time to bring out their plan. According to the publication, they were frightened of being captured by police.

The Bollywood actor"s security had previously been tightened up following the gruesome murder of Moose Wala by a criminal group. According to Indian media, the 56-year-old actor has been on the radar of organised crime for some time, and police officials have beefed up the protection unit outside his home.

According to Pinkvilla, a hasty precaution was taken after mobster Lawrence Bishnoi"s name surfaced as a prominent suspect in the murder of Moose Wala. According to the publication, Mumbai police have increased the actor"s total security to guarantee he is safe from the Bishnoi gang, which operates out of Rajasthan.

After the controversial blackbuck shooting case during the shoot of his 1999 hit Hum Saath Saath Hain, Khan has been on Bishnoi"s radar. The blackbuck is regarded as a sacred animal by the Bishnoi community, and Khan"s involvement in poaching had harmed the people"s feelings.

Bishnoi went so far as to frighten Khan with death in 2018. One of Bishnoi"s close colleagues, Rahul alias Sunni, was arrested for murder in 2020 and claimed that they had not only devised a plan to assassinate Khan, but had even travelled Mumbai to do a recce for the assassination.
